We can't avoid statistics - but we can understand it! Getting to grips with some simple concepts will put us in a great position to understand MU better
If we don't name things right how can we really say we are measuring them correctly?! Our users need to know what our results are telling them - the first step is defining the measurand
What affects our assays to the extent where we need to quantify their contribution? Are there some smaller ones we can "lump in" with an easier method for identification?
We need a common point to be able to compare results, traceability gives us that - that's great...until we find out that our results don't agree, and that is where bias comes in!
